In the name of God Amen.
I Robert Kay of Queen Street in the town of Douglas being of sound mind
memory and understanding do make publish and declare this my last will and
testament in manner following hereby revoking and making void any former
will or wills by me heretofore made.
I commit my soul to God and my body to decent Christian burial.
I leave and bequeath to my four daughters Ann Kay, Emily Kay, Alice Kay, and
Catharine Eliza Kay the sum  of one hundred pounds sterling each to
be a charge and lien on and to be paid out of the consideration of certain
dwelling houses situate in the North Quay and Queen Street in the town
of Douglas in and by two Deeds of Sale by me the said Robert Kaye
granted to my son William Cosnahan Kaye and bearing date respectively the
nineteen day of January one thousand eight hundred and fifty the
consideration money of said Deed of Sale being three hundred and thirty
pounds and the consideration money of the other being one hundred and
seventy pounds.
AI leave to my three sons Alfred Kaye, Mark Kaye and Francis Kaye
equally between them the sum of one hundred pounds being the balance of the
consideration money of the said deeds of Sale.
I leave to my said daughters Ann Kaye, Emily Kay, Alice Kaye and
Catharine Eliza Kay all the rest residue and remainder of my personal
property, household furniture, goods, chattels, and effects of every
denomination and description equally between them and share and share alike
and I do nominate constitute and appoint them my said daughters whole and
sole executors of this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this sixth day
of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty
eight 1858.

Emily Kaye and Alice Kaye two of the executrices named sworn (Cath
Eliza Kaye minor held in trust)
