In the name of God AMen.
I Thomas Gick of the town of Douglas formerly of Ballavartyn in the
parish of Santan Isle of Man am at present weak in body but of sound
disposing mind and memory at the making hereof do publish this to be my last
will and testament in manner following:
First I commit my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial at the
discretion of my executrix hereinafter mentioned.
I leave and bequeath unto my wife Mary Gick alias white the dwelling
house, cottage and yard to the same belonging No 4 situate at the west end
of Athol Street in the town of Douglas and bound as the Deed of Sale now on
record will appear.  The said dwelling house, cottage and yard to
be at the disposal of my said wife either by sale or otherwise as the (my
wife) by her discretion may direct.  I also leave unto my said wife all my
household furniture and effects together with my cash and moneys due
and owing me now or at any time hereafter subject nevertheless to the
payment of the legacies herein after mentioned.
I leave unto my sister Esther Green the sum of five pounds.
I leave to my sister Catharine the sum of half a crown
I leave unto my sister Margaret the sum of half a crown and I leave to my
niece Eleanor Grice Green the sum of five pounds and to ever claimer
the sum of one shilling
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my wife Mary Gick executrix
and residuary legatee of this my last will and testament and hereby
revoke make null and void all other wills by me any time heretofore
made and do publish this only to be my last will and testament.
As witness my hand this the fourth day of February one thousand eight
hundred and sixty two (1862).

Mary sworn executrix with pledges being Thomas Quayle and William Cosnahan
Cain who have entered into and executed the usual bond in presence of the
court.
