       The humble petition
       of Ann Bridson
       Widow of Wm Bridson
      of Malew

Sheweth
That the sd Wm Bridson
departed this life etc
about the 5th November
Inst. Intestate leaving
your petr his widow and
several children namely
Wm Bridson, John Bridson,
Catharine wife of John 
Craine, Sarah Bridson and
Mary Bridson who are 
resident in this Island
and three daughters namely
Esther, Eliza and Isabella
who reside in parts beyond
the seas –
    That it is necessary 
that administration
shall be granted to
the Estate and Effects
of the sd Wm Bridson
Wherefore she prays 
a hearing of this petition
and that administration
of the Goods and Effects
of the sd Wm Bridson
may be granted to her
and she will pray &c

Come to be read at
an Ecclesiastical Court 
to be holden at Peel on 
Friday next *** all 
parties are to have due
notice
