In the name of God Amen.
The last will and testament of Thomas Moore Senior of the Cleighrour in the
parish of Malew Isle of Man being of sound mind and memory at the
declaration hereof.
First I commend my soul to the mercy of God through Jesus Christ my Saviour
ad my body to Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath unto my children namely Thomas John and Ann
the sum of five shillings each and unto my grandchildren Thomas's children
the sum of five shillings each.
And lastly I nominate and appoint my beloved wife Isabella sole executrix
of all my worldly goods moveable and immoveable consisting of all  live
and dead stock, crops and household goods and furniture of every description
whatsoever beds, bedding wearing and best apparel, monies, notes, mortgages,
plate, library and clock.
And moreover the full use and benefit of the whole of my lands and premises
of the estate of the Cleigh in the parish of Malew during her natural life.
And  after decease to be disposed of as by a certain Deed
of Trust mutually agreed upon and executed by said executrix paying my
funeral expenses and all my just debts and the before mentioned legacies
barring all other claimants of my property with a six pence legacy to
whom the law of this Isle may give a claim.
As witness my name and signature this seventeenth day  of March one thousand
eight hundred and sixty three.
