Note: The pagination may not be correct and translated or doubtful wording may not be indicated. pre> Malew 1863 No 1 The humble petition of Elizabeth Mylchreest of the parish of Malew widow. Sheweth that your petitioners late husband Robert Mylchreest of the said parish Mariner departed this life intestate on the 6th day of January 1863 and it is necessary that administration should be set up to his estate. That the only next of kin of the said Robert Mylchrest are his children Robert Mylchreest and Margaret Mylchreest who are both infants. Wherefore your petitioner humbly prays a hearing hereof and that Letters of Administration of the estate and effects of the said Robert Mylchreest deceased may be granted to some proper person and your petitioner will pray. H Gill for petitioner Order that this petition do come on to be heard at an Ecclesiastical Court to be holden at Castle Rushen on this present Friday whereof all parties to have due notice. Given the 13th Feb 1863. R. Jebb At an Ecclesiastical Court held at Castletown the 13th Feb 1863. Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties or their advocates and it appearing that Robert Mylchreest in this petition named departed this life intestate leaving his children Robert Mylchreest and Margaret Mylchreest his only next of kin him surviving both of them infants the petitioner his widow is their fore sworn in trust well and truly to administer the goods and effects of said deceased according to law to pay all just debts and funeral expenses of said decreased so far forth as the goods will extend and the law bind her to return a true and perfect inventory thereof with and accurate account of her acts and proceedings in the premises to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese when thereunto lawfully required and to these ends she hath given pledges namely John Mylchreest and Samuel Quirk who have entered into and executed the usual bond in presence of the court .
