The last will and testament of Jane Kneale of the parish of Lezayre who from
due consideration of the uncertainty of human life do make my last will and
testament in manner following:
I commit my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial.
II - I leave and bequeath to my son Edward James Kneale the whole of my
monies, goods, chattels, and effects.
III - I leave and bequeath to my son Thomas Kneale the sum of two
shillings and six pence.
IIII - I leave and bequeath to my son John Kneale the sum of two
shillings and six pence.
V -  And lastly I nominate, constitute, and appoint the aforesaid Edward
James Kneale whole and sole executor of all the rest of my goods, chattels,
cash, credit, and effects whatsoever.
Hereby setting aside and rendering null and void any will or wills
heretofore made or in any manner committed to writing.
This the 28th day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty three.

At an Eccl Court held in Ramsey the 2nd day of July 1864 by Adjournment from
the 24th day of June 1864.
John Kneale and Robert Curphey the witnesses to the foregoing will
having made oath on the Holy Evangelist that the testator duly signed the
same in their presence James Edward Kneale the executor named is sworn in
form of law well and truly to pay the just debts and funeral expenses of the
said deceased so far forth as the goods will extend and the law bind him and
to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese
a full true and perfect inventory with an accurate account  of his acts in
the premises when thereto lawfully required and to these ends he hath given
pledges namely John Kneale and Robert Curphey who have executed the usual
bond in presence of the court.
