I Robert Cowin of James Street in the Town of Douglas, Baker being of sound mind memory 
and understanding ­ Do hereby make publish and declare this to be my last will and 
Testament in manner and form following that is to say after payment of all my just debts and 
funeral expenses ­ I give devise and bequeath to William Quirk late of the Cragvine in Marown 
and William Quine of Ballagick in Santon, All and Singular the whole of my real and personal 
property of every description and wheresoever situate of which I may be possessed of or 
entitled to at the time of my decease. To Hold to them their heirs executors or Administrators 
In Trust that immediately after my decease they shall and will call in and collect all sum or 
sums of money invested or deposited by me and all sums of money due to me, and that they 
shall and will dispose of my household furniture and stock in trade and that they shall and will 
invest the proceeds of the whole of the above in some good and sufficient security, and 
thereout from time to time pay such sum or sums of money as they may deem necessary for 
the maintenance and education of such of my Children as may be living at the time of 
decease and upon the youngest surviving child attaining the age of twenty one years then I 
direct that the said trustees shall pay over any balance that may be remaining in their hands 
(after indemnifying themselves for any cost or charge they may incur or be put to in the 
execution of this trust) to and equally amongst such of my Children as shall then be living 
share and share alike as tenants in common ­ And in the event of the death of any of my said 
Children leaving lawful issue him or her surviving then I direct that such issue shall be entitled 
to his her or their deceased parents share ­ And lastly nominate constitute and appoint John 
Kelly of Goldie (?) Street Douglas Town to be sole executor of this my last Will and Testament 
hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made or executed. As witness my name this 
30th day of April 1864 ­
