At a Chapter Court held in Peel on the 9th day of November 1866
At being proved that John Christian of the village of the parish of
Michael on or about the --- day of October 1866 departed this life
intestate, This court hath decreed Edward Cannell Sumner of Michael
administrator of all and singular the personal estate and effects of said
deceased, and accordingly he is sworn well and truly to administer the
said estate and effects of the said deceased by paying his just debts and
funeral expenses so far forth as the said Estate and effects will extend and
the law bind him and distributing the residue thereof according to
law, and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this Diocese a full, true,
and perfect inventory thereof with an accurate account of his acts and
proceedings in the premises when thereunto lawfully required; and to
these ends he hath given pledges, namely, Thomas Mylrea of Glen Wyllan in
the parish of Michael and John Cannon of the village in the parish of
Michael who have entered into and executed the usual bond in presence of the
