Malew 1869 No 57 The humble petition of Ann Mylchreest widow of William Mylchreest deceased. Sheweth that the said William Mylchreest of Billown in the parish of Malew, your petitioner's late husband departed this life in the month of May last past having first duly executed a certain deed or indenture dated the 8th day of May 1869 whereby he granted and conveyed the whole of his real and personal estate of every description to William Fargher of Castletown In Trust amongst other things upon the death of the said William Mylchreest to grant convey and pass over absolutely to your petitioner the whole of the personal estate of the said William Mylchreest. That the said personal estate has since the death of the said William Mylchreest been transferred and passed over to your petitioner by the said William Fargher and your petitioner is now in possession of the same. That the said Deed was on the 5th day of Jun 1869 duly recorded in the Registry of Deeds for this island. That it is necessary that the administration of the estate and effects of the said William Mylchreest should be obtained. That the only next of kin of the said William Mylchreest are his seven children namely William Mylchreest and Elizabeth Mylchreest who are off this island, Jane the wife of John Quinney and Margaret Mylchreest all children by a former marriage James, Robert and Henry William children of your petitioner and all infants. Wherefore your petitioner humbly prays a hearing hereof and that Letters of Administration of the said estate and effects of the said William Mylchreest with the said Deed annexed may be granted to your petitioner or some other fit and proper person. And that she may have such other relief as is meet and she will pray.
