Malew Scarlett 1870 89 I Paul Keig late of Scarlett in the parish of Malew but at present residing with my son in law Robert Maddrell of Ballalough in the parish of Malew being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner following: I leave my daughter Catharine wife of the said Robert Maddrell one pound as legacy. I leave devise and bequeath unto my wife Margaret Keig all and singular my right and interest in an unto two dwelling houses gardens and premises to me belonging situate at the Red Gap in the parish of Malew aforesaid to have and to hold unto her and her heirs and assigns forever with all ways waters water courses easements hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and I do hereby appoint her whole and sole executrix of this my last will andd testament according to law. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this eight day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight.
