I Christian Kneale widow of the late Thomas Kneale of Ballasalley in the
parish of Jurby being of sound mind memory and understanding and
bearing in mind the uncertainty of human life do make publish and
declare this my last will and testament in manner following:  That is to
say.
I leave devise and bequeath to my son Thomas Kneale my whole right
title property and interest in and unto that house and those lands and
premises purchased by my late husband Thomas Kneale from Mrs
Elizabeth Teare being part of the quarterland of Ballasalley for the term
of his natural life and from and after the day of his death to his son and
heir at law Thomas Kneale and his heirs executors administrators and as
forever and I leave and bequeath to my said son Thomas Kneale five pounds as
legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my  grand daughter Jane Kneale five pounds sterling
as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my grand son Thomas Kneale five pounds as
legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my granddaughter Ann Kneal five pounds as
legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my grandson Daniel Kneale five pounds as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my grand daughter Isabella Kneale five pounds as
legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my grandson John Kneale five pound as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to my son Daniel Kneale my whole right and title to
that meadow or curragh purchased by my late husband Thomas Kneale from James
Corlett being part of Close E Resour situate in the parish of Lezayre and
more particularly mentioned and described in and by the
Deed of Sale -  to have and to hold unto him the said Daniel Kneale and
his heirs executors administrators and as from the day of my death
absolutely forever.
I leave and bequeath to the trustees of the Jurby West Wesleyan Methodist
Chapel two pounds sterling to be applied toward paying off a part of the
debt of the chapel.
I leave and bequeath to the poor of the parish of Jurby two pounds
sterling to be divided amongst them.
Lastly I nominate constitute  and appoint my son Daniel Kneale whole and
sole executor of this my last will and testament to whom I leave all the
residue and remainder of my goods chattels cash credit and effects of what
kind or nature soever.  In witness whereof I have hereunto
subscribed my name this the twenty seventh day of December one thousand
eight hundred and sixty six.

Jane Kneale daughter of Thomas Kneale of Ballasalley Jurby received
from Daniel Kneale executor of my grandmother's will five pounds
sterling  7th day of Febry 1871.

Jurby West Wesleyan Chapel received  legacy 12 Mar 1873.
John Kneale received £5 19 Feb 1880.
Isabella Kneale received five pounds sterling from Daniel Kneale  19 Feb
1880.
Thomas Kneale junior son of Thomas Kneale received from uncle Daniel Kneale
five pounds  23 Jan 1871.
Thoms Kneale received from his brother Daniel Kneale five pounds
sterling  23 Jan 1871.
Daniel Kneale son of Thomas Kneale received from uncle Daniel Kneale
five pounds 23 Jan 1871.
