42 Malew I James Mylchreest a present of the Gruman Castletown Harbour Master being of sound disposing mind memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner following: I give devise and bequeath unto my son and heir at law James Mylchreest of Castletown merchant that dwelling house premises situated on the Quay in the said town of Castletown at present in the holding of John Caveen Harbour Master. Also that dwelling house and premises situated in the back Lane leading toward the Quay adjoining a warehouse belonging to John F. Crellin Esquire on the west and which house is at present in the holding of Henry Welch Tailer. Also all and singular a dwelling house and cowhouse adjoining situated on the Quay between the Castle and the bank on Water Street and adjoining the properties of Robert Cannell and Thomas Boyd to have and to hold the said several houses and premises with the easements and appurtenances unto the same belonging or appertaining unto my said son James Mylchreest his heirs and assigns forever. I leave the said James Mylchreest all the rest of my property and effects and personal estate of every kind and description and wheresoever the same may be. And I do hereby appoint him executor of this my last will and testament according to law revoking all wills by me heretofore made and debarring any claimants with six pence as legacy. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this tenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.
