The humble petition of Philip Teare of Andreas and Edward Moore
Taubman of Ramsey.
Sheweth:  That Philip Teare son of the said petitioner Philip Teare
departed this life on or about the twenty fifth day of May last past
having first duly made and executed his last will and testament in
writing whereof he appointed the said petr Philip Teare sole executor.
That your petr Philip Teare has renounced the office of executor under
the said will and declines to act as executor thereunder and has executed
a formal renunciation to that effect.
That petitioners are desirous of proving the said will and that
administration of the estate of the said Philip Teare with the said will
annexed should be granted to some fit and proper person.
That petitioners propose William Crennell of Ramsey aforesaid Merchant
as a fit and proper person to be so sworn administrator with the said
will annexed.
Wherefore petitioners pray a hearing hereof and that your Worship may
be pleased to receive the said will and grant administration of the
estate of the Philip Teare deceased with the said will annexed unto the
said William Crennell or some other fit and proper person and
petitioners will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an Eccl Court to be
held at Ramsey on Friday the 14th day of June 1872 at 10 o'clock in the
forenoon whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due notice.

Letters of Administration granted to William Crennell
This is the last will and testament of me Philip Teare formerly of the
town of Ramsey Ironmonger who being at the making hereof weak in body but of
sound mind memory and understanding do make and ordain the
same in the following manner and form.
I leave and bequeath unto the Chaplain and Wardens of  St Paulšs Chapel
in the town of Ramsey the sum of one hundred pounds to be by them paid out
at interest for the benefit of the poor of that town.
I leave and bequeath unto the Rector and Wardens of the parish of Andreas
the sum of one hundred pounds to be by them laid out at interest for the
benefit of the poor of that parish.
I leave and bequeath unto my stepmother Mary Teare the sum of one hundred
pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto my sister Catherine Jane Taubman two hundred
pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto my brother Charles Teare fifty pounds.
I leave and bequeath unto Walter James Brown and Edward Brown sons of the
late Walter Brown the sum of twenty five pounds each to be paid to them upon
their attaining the age of twenty one years.
I leave all the rest residue and remainder of my goods, cash, effect, and
estate of every denomination and description unto my dear father Philip
Teare and I hereby nominate constitute appoint and ordain my said father
Philip Teare whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 21st day of May
1872.   Philip Teare.

£200 rec'd Edward Moore Taubman and Catherine Jane Taubman on 29 Mar
1873.

Philip Teare his father renounced administration of his son's will on 14
