This is the last will and testament of me Richard Clucas of Kionslieu in
the parish of Patrick, Isle of Man.
I direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be duly
paid by my executors hereinafter named as conveniently may be after my
decease.  I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate
wherever and whatsoever to William Corris Junior of Glenneedle and
John Collister,  of Ballahass both in the parish of Patrick in trust to sell
dispose of and covert into cash all the stock and crop and implements on or
about the 12th day of November after my decease.  I direct that the land and
buildings  be let for year to year for six years from the
aforesaid 12th of November and that out of the proceeds the sum of twenty
five pounds be given or expended upon each of my sons Hugh and Edward Walter
in acquiring a trade or starting in life.  I direct that at
the termination of the aforesaid six years my wife shall hold a life
interest in one half of my real estate and that my son Richard Pinder
shall possess the remaining half until the decease of my wife then I
direct that he shall take enjoy and possess the whole my real estate subject
nevertheless to the payment of the sum of twenty five pounds to each of my
sons John and Frank for the purpose of giving them a trade, or for any other
purpose deemed necessary for their welfare at the discretion of my son
Richard Pinder. I direct my aforesaid executors to pay over the proceeds of
the letting of the land and sale of the stock during the aforesaid six years
to my wife and son Richard Pinder for the maintenance of the family.  I
appoint the aforesaid William Corris Junior
and John Collister executors of this my last will.  As witness my hand
this 12th day of February one thousand eight hundred and seventy three

Codicil
In addition to the foregoing will and testament I direct that my wife and
my son Richard Pinder provide for, take care of, and when of sufficient
age send to and have instructed in some trade my three daughters Louisa,
Martha Edith, and Florence Francis Maud until they are able to provide for
themselves.

At a Chapter Court held at Peel on the 9th day of May 1873.  Frederick James
Moore one of the subscribing witness to the execution of the foregoing paper
writing bearing date 12th day of February 1872.
William Corris Junior and John Collister renounced executorship the
court hath therefore granted Letters of Administration to Christian
Clucas and Richard Clucas the son  with pledges John Kermode and
William Moore of Foxdale of the parish of Patrick who entered into and
executed the usual bond in the presence of the court.
