This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Mylrea of Glenwillym
in the parish of Michael Miller and farmer being of sound disposing mind
memory and understanding at the time of the making hereof, and hereby
revoking every former will made by me. I dispose of my worldly goods
and possession in manner following.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane of Queens, Queen's County Long
Island New York North America, wife of William Callister the sum of
twenty pounds sterling.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary Elizabeth at present residing in
the town of Barrow, England, wife of John Caine, Mariner, the sum of twenty
pounds sterling.
I leave and bequeath to each of my two sons William and Philip Caine the sum
of ten pounds sterling.
I leave devise and bequeath to my eldest son John Thomas the whole of
my real estate consisting of one third of the corn mill dwelling house
and out offices, easements, and appurtenances unto the same belonging
together with the whole of that house opposite the said Mill wheel and
adjoining the estate of Ballacregga and the appurtenances thereunto
belonging all said estate is situate in Glenwillyn in the parish of Michael
aforesaid.
I leave nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary Elizabeth
Mylrea and my said eldest son John Thomas Mylrea my sole joint
executors and residuary legatees of all my personal estate of every
denomination whatever, after paying my just debts and funeral expenses. In
witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name. The second
day of September One thousand eight hundred and seventy five.

Signed by the testator and declared by him to be his last will in the
presence of us who in his presence and in presence of each other have
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

At an Eccl Court held at Peel on the 15th day of December 1876.
William Mylrea and Philip Mylrea the subscribing witnesses to the
execution of the foregoing papers writing purporting to be the last will
and testament of Thomas Mylrea late of Glenwillyn in the parish of
Michael Miller and farmer deceased. Who died on or about the 24th day of
November 1876 having made oath on the Holy Evangelists that said testator
Thomas Mylrea when of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding duly
signed and acknowledged the same as and for his last will and testament in
their presence and that they at the same time in
the presence of the said testator and of each other subscribed the same in
attestation thereof. And Mary Elizabeth Mylrea widow the relict of
the said deceased one of the executors named therein having renounced the
probate of said will and declined to be sworn John Thomas Mylrea a
son of the said deceased the other executor in said will named is
therefore sworn well and truly to fulfil and execute said will and to
administer all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said
deceased according to law by paying the just debts funeral and testamentary
expenses of the said deceased and the legacies contained
in his said will so far forth as his estate and effects will thereto extend
and the law bind him and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this
Diocese of "Sodor and Mann a full true and perfect inventory of all and
singular the said estate end effects with an accurate account of his
administration thereof when thereunto lawfully required and to these
ends he hath given pledges namely William Mylrea of the Village in the
parish of Andreas and Phillip Mylrea of Saint Marks in the parish of
Malew who have entered into and executed the usual bond in the presence of
the court.
