German 1876 No 12 I Ann Shimmin of Ballaboie in the parish of German being of sound and disposing mind do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament and do hereby set aside and annul all other wills by me made before this. First I will and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Cowin the sum of fifty pounds. Secondly I will and bequeath unto my granddaughter Jane Cowley my bed and bedding. And I do hereby nominate and appoint my daughter Ann Cowley residuary legatee of any property whatsoever to me remaining undisposed of and executrix of this my last will and testament. Witness my subscription to this my will and testament this fourteenth day of November eighteen hundred and sixty six Marown Isle of Man. Ann Shimmin Witnesses present Robert Kelly Thomas Cowen At an Eccl Court held at Peel 18th day of Feb 1876 William Cowley husband of Ann Cowley a daughter was sworn as executor of Ann Shimmin's will with pledges being Thomas Cowen of Douglas and Cæsar Corris of Peel.
