The humble petition of Emily
Kinrade of the Town of Douglas
spinster.
Sheweth:
That your petitioner's mother Jane
Kinrade late of Victoria Place in
the Parish of Onchan widow departed
this life on the 26th day of January
1876 having first duly made and
published her last Will and Testament
in writing whereof she appointed your
petitioner Execurix.
That your petitioner is desirous
of obtaing Probate of the said
Will in due form of Law.
Wherefore you petitioner humbly
prays a hearing hereof and that
your Worship may be pleased to
grant Probate of the Will of
the said Jane Kinrade to your
petitione and petitioner will
ever pray etc etc

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at our
Ecclesiastical Court to be held at Douglas on Thursday the 24th
day of February 1876, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon. Whereof
all proper parties and persons are to have due and lawful notice.

I Jane Kinrade, widow, of Victoria Place, in
the parish of Onchan, being of sound mind, memory
and understanding, do this twentysecond day
of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and seventy five, make my last
Will and testament in manner and form
following; that is to say:- I give and bequeath
to my daughter Emily Kinrade the whole
of my possessions, wheresoever and whatsoever,
and of what nature, kind, or quality soever,
for her own use and benefit absolutely.
At the same time, I do appoint my daughter
Emily Kinrade sole executrix of this my
last will and testament, to which I have
hereunto set my hand this twenty second
day of April, in the year of our Lord, one
thousand, eight hundred and seventy five
her

At our Ecclesiastical Court held in Douglas on the
24th day of February 1876
Joseph Hinton and Evan Shimmin the subscribing witnesses to the
execution of the foregoing paper writing purporting to be the last Will
and Testament of Jane Kinrade late of Victoria Place in te parish
of Onchan, widow deceased, who died on or about the month of
January 1876, having made oath on the Holy Evangelists that
said testratrix Jane Kinrade when of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding duly signed and acknowledged the
same as and for her last Will and Testament in their presence and
that they at the same time in the presence of the Testratrix and in the presence of each
other subscribed the same in attestation thereof - Emily
Kinrade, spinster, a daughter of the Deceased the Executrix
named in said Will is therefore sworn well and truly to fulfill
and execute said Will and to Administer all and singular the
personal estate and effects of the said deceased according
to Law, by paying the just debts and Funeral expenses from
the said deceased and the Legacies contained in her said
Will so far forth as her estate and effects will thereto extend
and the law bind her and to return to the Episcopal Registry
of this Diocese of Sodor and Mann a full true and perfect
inventory of all and singular the said estate and effiects
with an accurate account of her adminstration thereof
when thereunto lawfully required. And to these ends she
hath given pledges namely Thomas Green and Edward
Quine, both of the town of Douglas in the parish of
Braddan who have entered into and executed the
ususal bond in the presence of the Court
