The humble petition of James Callow of the town of Ramsey -  builder.
Sheweth:
 That petitioner's father James Callow of the town of Ramsey departed this
life on or about the 16th day of July 1871 intestate and it is necessary
that some fit and proper person should be appointed administrator of his
estate and effects.
Wherefore petitioner prays a hearing hereof and that your Worship may
be pleased to appoint petitioner or some other fit and proper person
administrator of the said estate and effects and petitioner will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an Ecclesiastical Court
to be held at Ramsey on Friday the 12th day of October 1877 at 11 O'clock in
the forenoon.  Whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due and
lawful notice
Given at Ramsey this 3rd day of October 1877.
At an Ecclesiastical court held at Ramsey on the 12th day of October
1877 James Callow son of the late James Callow was sworn to
administer estate and effects of his father.
Pledges were William Callow of Ramsey and John Looney of Ramsey both
of the parish of Maughold.
