I Thomas Cain, of Ballakaighan in the parish of KK German, do make this
paper writing to be my last will and testament as follows and do hereby
revoke all other wills heretofore executed by me.  I leave and bequeath
to my son John Cain the whole of my lands, houses, and premises known
by the name of Ballakaighan, situate in the aforesaid parish of German,
my said son to possess one half of the said lands and premises, at my
decease, and the remainder at the decease of John Cain's mother.
I leave and bequeath to my wife, one half of the aforesaid lands and
premises, during her life.
I leave and bequeath to my wife and my said son John, all my stock and crops
equally between them.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Catherine, the sum of thirty pounds.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Esther Augusta, the sum of one hundred
pounds, the aforesaid legacies to be paid my daughters by my son John at my
decease when he comes in possession of the first half of the aforesaid lands
and premises.
I leave and bequeath to Esther my wife the whole of my residue and remainder
of all my goods, moneys, and effects both real and personal, and whatsoever
and where soever found, and I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife
whole and sole executrix of my estate of this
my last will and testament and residuary legatee of all my goods, and
effects.
I leave to all my claimant or claimants the sum of one shilling each in
witness hereof I have hereto subscribed my name in the year one
thousand eight hundred and seventy five.  This 16th day of October 1875.

Codicil
I do hereby revoke the legacy bequeathed in the foregoing will left to my
daughter Esther Augusta.  I do hereby leave and bequeath to my said daughter
Esther Augusta the sum of thirty pounds as a legacy in lieu of the hundred
pounds in witness hereof I have subscribed my name this
29th day of September 1877.
