Radcliffe and Frederick
Radcliffe surviving Executors
Of James Radcliffe
SHEWETH
That James Radcliffe formerly
Of 34 Wavertree Road West Derby in
The County of Lancaster but late of
Bleak House Walton Park near
Liverpool in the said County Gentleman
Departed this life on the 12th day of
December 1870 having first duly
Made and published his last Will
And Testatment in writing dated
17th day of March 1864 whereof he
appointed your petitioners and
Daniel Radcliffe since deceased
Executors.
That the said Will was duly proven
In her Majesty's Court of Probate in
England in the District Registry
At Liverpool on the 18th day of
January 1871 when probate thereof was
Granted to your Petitioners and Daniel
Radcliffe the Executors name dherein.
That the said Testator had property
On this Island and it is necessary that
The said Will should proved here.
That there are no next of Kin of
Testator resident on this Island.
Wherefore Petitioners pray
A Hearing hereof and
That your Worship may
Be pleased to grant
Probate of the said Will to your
Petitioners or one of them
And Petitioners will pray.

At an Ecclesiastical Court to be held at Ramsey
On Friday the 22nd day of November 1878 att 11
O'clock in the forenoon. Whereof all proper
Parties and persons are to have due and
lawful notice R. Jebb

On the 22nd day of November 1878.
Upon hearing this petition in the presence of the parties
Or their Advocates and upon production of the
Original probate of the last Will ad Testament of
James Radcliffe formerly of 34 Wavertree Road
West Derby in the County of Lancaster but late
Of Bleak House Walton Park near Liverpool
In the said County Gentleman deceased
Who died on or about the 12th day of November
1870 on Exemplification of such Will being
annexed to such probate granted to Henry
Radcliffe and Frederick Radcliffe the sons of
The deceased and Daniel Radcliffe the Executors
In said Will named and appointed
By her Majesties Court of Probate at the District
Registry at Liverpool in England on the 18th day of
January 1871 and under seal of the above
Named Court. And upon consideration
Held thereof the same is received by this Court of
Sodor and when as and for the last Will and
Testament of the James Radcliffe deceased. and
Henry Radcliffe a son of the said deceased one of the
Executors herein named having appeared in
person was duly sworn and gave pledges according
to Law and probate of the said Will within
this Diocese is decreed to be granted to him.
And the Episcopal Registrar is hereby directed
To prepare an "_____" "___" of said Will
And probate to extend the Island grant of
Probate thereon for the signature of the Judge
Of this Court and for recording in our Registry.
So that the original English Probate may be obtained
to the "___" power "____" of "____" "___" "___"
to the other executors named in said Will.
And accordingly the same be "___" and "___" R. Jebb
