The humble petition of Cecilia Tyson of Ballasalla in the parish of Malew
widow and of Elizabeth Sayle and William Shimmin of the same place. Sheweth:
That James Tyson husband of your petitioner Cecilia Tyson departed this life
at Ballasalla aforesaid in or about the month of January 1867
intestate.
That it is necessary that Letters of Administration of the estate of the
said James Tyson should be granted .
That the said James Tyson left your petitioner Cecilia Tyson his widow
him remaining and the truly next of kin of the said James Tyson resident
in this island is your petitioner Elizabeth Sayle your petitioner William
Shimmin is husband of Cecilia a daughter of the said James Tyson but
now deceased.
Wherefore your petitioners humbly pray a hearing hereof and that your
Worship may be pleased to grant Letters of Administration of the relict
of the said James Tyson to some fit and proper person and they will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at an Eccl Court to be
held at Castle Rushen on Friday the 29th day of October 1880 at 11
O'clock in the forenoon whereof all proper parties and persons are to have
due and lawful notice.
Given at Castletown this 23d day of October 1880.

At an Eccl court held at Castletown on the 29th day of October 1880 Upon
hearing the petition in the presence of the parties or their advocates and
it being proved that JAMES TYSON late of Ballasalla in the parish of
Malew in or about the month of January 1867 departed this life
intestate.
This court hath decreed Cecilia Tyson, Widow, the relict of the said
deceased administratrix of all and singular the personal estate and
effects of said deceased and accordingly she is sworn well and truly to
administer the said estate and effects of the said deceased by paying his
just debts and funeral expenses so far forth as the said estate and effects
will extend and the law bind her and distributing the residue thereof
according to law, and to return to the Diocesan Registry of the
Isle and Diocese a full, true, and perfect inventory thereof, with an
accurate account of her administration herefore when thereunto lawfully
required; and to these ends she hath given pledges namely Thomas Tyson of
Ballasalla in the parish of Malew and Edward Martin of Castletown in
the parish of Malew who have entered into and executed the usual Bond in the
presence of the court.
