	     	 This is the Last Will and Testament 
		of me William James Fell of Princes
		Street in the town of Douglas 
		Master Mariner hereby revoking
		all former Wills made by me
	                       I leave devise and bequeath 
		to John Casement of  [Buchs] Road
		in the town of Douglas Engineer
		and John Kelly of Christian 
		Road in the said town Builder
		and the survivor of them and his
		heirs executors and administrators
		and his and their assigns ALL
		AND SINGULAR  the whole of my
		estate real and personal and
		of every description whatever
		In trust nevertheless to suffer
		and permit my wife Catherine
		Fell to hold occupy and enjoy
		the same for and during the
		term of her natural life And
		upon her decease In trust to
CWC. J R	suffer and permit receive the
  	    rent issues interest income and
		profits thereof and to pay over
C.W.C. J R 	the same to my son William
		Daniel Fell for and during 
		his natural life And upon the
		decease of my said son William
		Daniel Fell  In trust to convey
		assign and pass over the whole
		of my said estate to and equally
		between my two daughters
		Catherine wife of Daniel Kaighin
		and Ann wife of John Casement
		and their heirs executors  ------
		administrators and assigns
		       I nominate constitute and
		appoint the said John  
Casement and John Kelly
Executors of this my Will
     In witness whereof I have
hereto subscribed my name
this twenty first day of July
one thousand eight hundred 
and eighty one.

	the next of kin of the said
	William James Fell resident
	in this Island do consent to
	probate of the Will of the said
	Wm Jas Fell being granted to
	John Casement and John Kelly
	both of the town of Douglas who
	are the executors named in
	the Will at any Ecclesiastical
	Court to be held after this date
	    Witness our names this 21st
	  day of November  1881

           At an Ecclesiastical Court held at Douglas
           on the 24th day of November 1881  ---
Charles William Coole, Esquire, Advocate and John
Robertson  the subscribing witnesses to the executive
of the foregoing paper writing purporting to be the
the last Will and Testament of  William James Fell
late of Princes Street in the town of Douglas, Master
Mariner, deceased, who died on or about the 25th
day of August 1881 having made Oath on the Holy
Evangelists that said testator William James Fell
when of sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding duly signed and acknowledged the
same as and for his last Will and Testament in
their presence and that they at the same time in the
presence of the said Testator of each other subscribed
the same in attestation thereof   ---  John  Casement
and John Kelly the Executors in said Will named
are therefore sworn well and truly to fulfil and
execute said Will and to administor all and singular
the personal estate of the said Deceased according
to Law by paying the just debts funeral and
Testamentary expences of the said  Deceased and
the Legacies contained in his said Will so far
forth as his estate and effects will thereto
extend and the Law  bind  them  And to return
to the [Diocesan] Registry of this Isle and Diocese
of Sodor and Man a full  true and perfect
inventory of all and singular the said estate
and effects with an accurate  account of their
Administation  thereof when thereunto lawfully
required  And to these ends they have given 
Pledges  Namely  Thomas Riley Quayle of
Douglas and James Craine of  Douglas
in the parish of  Braddan  who have entered
[rits]  and executed the usual Bond in the
presence of this Court,  -----

		At an Ecclesiastical Court held
		at Douglas on the 25th day of October
		1883
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the
parties or their Advocates, with notice to
Edward Martin Liquidator of the Derbyhaven
Trial Company a creditor of the deceased
And it appearing that the petitioners have returned
to the Diocesan Registry their account of their
Administration of the personal estate of the said
William James Fell deceased And that the
proceeds of said estate are insufficient and
will not extend to the full payment of the
Claim entered and proved against the said
Estate the balance of said estate in the petitioners
[found] after deducting certain preferable
payments made by their accounting to the
sum of Eleven pounds eight shillings and four
pence   And upon consideration had thereof
( no objection being offered ) the Diocesan [Registrar]
is hereby authorized  and empowered to proceed
and deduct from said balance of   11. 8. 4.
any Lawful preferable demands with the 
usual costs of this petition and of the Act  of
Distribution and afterwards to make a just 
and fair distribution [rateably] of such 
balance of said estate as he may find to the
Claimant or Claimants who have entered and
proved his or their Claim or Claims against
the said Estate And accordingly the same
is hereby so Ordered Adjudged and
Decreed
