The last will and testament of Jane Caine alias Killip of Andreas
formerly of Ballaugh being of sound mind, memory and understanding at the
making hereof do order and ordain the disposal of my estate the way and
manner following:
I do leave and bequeath to my son Thomas now in America, my clock, sofa and
my own bed as leqacy.
I leave and bequeath to my sons Robt and Daniel and my daughter Judith the
sum of two shillings and six pence each as legacy.
I nominate and appoint my son William Caine, now of Ramsey, my whole
and sole executor and residuary legatee of all my goods and chattels and all
that I can convey of whatever kind or nature soever they be whether real or
personal, moveable or immovable as witness my subscription this twenty
seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy eight.  March 27  1878.

The petition of William Caine of the town of Ramsey and Robert Caine
and Judith Craine of Lezayre Sheweth: That your petitioneršs mother Jane
Caine formerly of the parish of Ballaugh recently departed this life
having previously thereto made and published her last will and
testament dated the 27th day of March 1878 whereof she appoint your
petitioner sole executor
That it is necessary that probate of the said will should be granted with
as little delay as possible.
Your petitioner therefore humbly prays your Worship consideration
hereof and that your Worship may be pleased to grant probate of the said
will as aforesaid and your petitioner will pray.            William Caine
Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at Eccl Court to held at
Douglas on Thursday the 21st day of December 1882 at 11 o'clock in the
forenoon.  Whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due and lawful
notice.
Given at Ramsey this 19th day of December 1882.
