I Thomas Caley of the Chrink Abbey Lands in the parish of Lonan being of
a sound state of mind do appoint and declare this my last will and
testament.
1st I leave and bequest to my son and heir James the sum of eighteen pounds
sterling.
2nd I leave and bequeath to my son Thomas the sum of seven pounds sterling.
3rd I leave and bequeath to my daughter Ellinor the sum of seven pounds
sterling.
4th I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret the sum of seven pounds
sterling.
5th I leave and bequeath to my daughter Jane the sum of seven pounds
sterling.
6th I leave and bequeath my daughter Mary Ann the sum of seven pounds
sterling.
I nominate and appoint my beloved daughter Elizabeth to be whole and
sole executrix and residuary legatee to this my last will and testament. And
I do hereby declare this and no other to be my last will and
testament.
In witness whereof I have here unto subscribed my name this the 10th
day of September in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty
three.

At a District Probate Session holden at Douglas on the 8th day of May 1885.
The annexed paper writing dated 10th day of September 1883 having
been proved to be the last will and testament of Thomas Caley late of
the chrink in the Abbey lands of the parish of Lonan deceased who died on
the 26th day of January 1885. Thomas Callow of the Abbey lands aforesaid
husband of Elizabeth Callow a daughter of the testator the executrix therein
named and in right of his said wife is sworn well and
truly to fulfil and execute the same and to administer the personal
estate of the deceased according to law.
