I John Craine Residing on Ballavagher
In the Parish of Patrickdo make this my
Last Will and Testament in manner
Following – 
I direct that all my just debts
Legacies and Funeral expenses be
Paid by my executrix hereinafter named

I leave and bequeath to my son 
Frederick the sum of Forty pounds
sterling as Legacy

I leave and bequeath to my son
Thomas the sum of Forty pounds 
sterling as Legacy

I leave and bequeath to my 
daughter Eliza the sum of Fifty
pounds sterling as Legacy

I leave and bequeath to my wife
Catherine Craine all the rest and
Residue of my monies and also all
My Goods and Effects whatsoever
Description I may be possessed of at
the time of my decease on

   And I Nominate Constitute and
Appoint my said wife Catherine
Craine whole and sole Executrix 
of this my will – 
   The foregoing  Legacies to be paid at
My decease – 

                  In Testimony whereof I have
                  Hereunto subscribed my name
                  This the Fourteenth day of March
                  One Thousand Eight hundred
                  and Eighty Five
