Robert Shimmin, 1885

	This is the last Will and Testament of me 
Robert Shimmin, Hotel Keeper, Heywood Place 
in the town of Douglas, Isle of Man.  Subject 
to the payment of my debts funeral and testa-
mentary  expenses I give devise and bequeath 
all and every my household furniture, linen, 
clothes, china, glass, plate, pictures and all other 
household effects and also my horses carts 
stock-in-trade and ready money including 
money at my bankers and all and every
other my real and personal Estate and 
effects whatsoever and wheresoever to my 
wife Frances Shimmin alias Bell and 
I also bequeath to my six children 
the sum of five shillings each 
	And I also leave my wife
 Frances Shimmin my sole Executrix
