The humble petition of Charles Teare of Ballaseyre Andreas farmer Mary Teare
of Ballaseyre widow of Philip Teare late of  Ballaseyre and
Catherine Jane Taubman formerly Teare wife of Edward Moore Taubman
of Ramsey Merchant and the said Edward Moore Taubman.
Sheweth:  That the said Philip Teare late of Ballaseyre aforesaid farmer
departed this life on the 2nd day of March last having first made and
published his last will and testament thereof he appointed the said
Charles Teare and Mary Teare Executor and Executrix
that the said Philip Teare duly made and published two codicils to his
said last will and testament dated respectively the  day of March 1887
and the 17 day Sept 1887 and by the last of such codicils the said testators
provided that in case his said wife Mary Teare elected to take under such
codicil the provision  made for her thereby the appointment
of the said Mary Teare as executrix along with the said Charles Teare should
be cancelled and the said Charles Teare should be appointed sole executor
under the said will and the codicils thereto.
That the said Mary Teare has elected take under the said codicil of the 17th
day of September 1887 and has renounced and doth hereby renounce probate of
the said will.
That petitioners are desirous that probate of the said will and the said
codicils thereto should be granted to the said Charles Teare.
Wherefore petitioners pray a hearing hereof and that your honor may be
pleased to grant probate of the said will and codicil as written forming
the last will and testament of the said Philip Teare deceased to the said
Charles Teare and petitioner will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be holden at
Ramsey the 16th day of April 1888 whereof all proper parties are to have due
notice this 16 Apr 1881.    W. Gill

This is the last will and testament of me Philip Teare of Ballaseyr in the
parish of Andreas farmer which I make publish and declare this sixth day of
November one thousand eight hundred and eighty three.
I give and devise the whole of my real estate of  every description and
wheresoever situated unto my son Charles Teare subject to the right of dower
therein of my wife Mary Teare and subject also to the payment out of that
part of my real estate called and known by the name of Loughdrowaigue
situate in the parish of Andreas of the sum of three
pounds yearly to the Rector and Warden of the  said  parish of Andreas
for the poor of the said parish such payment to be payable by the said
Charles Teare his heirs and assigns yearly and every year and to remain a
charge upon the said lands and premises of Loughdrowaigue  as long only as
the poor of the said parish of Andreas shall continue to be supported
on the voluntary basis.  And it is hereby expressly provide that immediately
upon the coming unto operation in the said parish of any
poor law or measure for complusory rating for the supper of the poor
such payment of three pounds yearly shall cease and determine and the said
charge upon the lands of Loughdrowaigue shall be absolutely extinguished.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Catherine wife of Edward Moore Taubman
of Ramsey all my monies cash notes bonds stocks shares or securities for
money of every description which shall not have been assigned transferred or
made over to my said daughter or her husband during my lifetime and I also
leave and bequeath to my said daughter all sums of money due or owing to me
from any source whatever at the time of my decease the right to which shall
not have been assigned to my said daughter or her husband in my lifetime.  I
leave and bequeath any farm stock household furniture and the residue of my
personal estate of every description to my said son Charles and my said wife
Mary equally
between them.  And I nominate constitute my said son and my said wife
executors of this my will.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the date aforesaid.
