This is the last will and testament of me Edward Quine of St Ann's
Terrace in the parish of Santan.
I revoke all other wills heretofore made by me.  I leave and devise to
Thomas Kelly of the town of Douglas auctioneer and Thomas Gelling of
Glentraugh in Santan all my real and personal property of every kind and
description to hold to them absolutely in trust to realize and convert the
same into money as soon as a conveniently may be after my decease and out of
the proceeds of such conversion to pay out the first place my funeral
expenses and the cost and charges of carrying out the trust hereof and in
the next place to pay all debts due by me and to retain for their own
remuneration such sums as maybe reasonable compensation
for their troubles and in the other place to pay out of the balance the
following legacies vizt:
Charlotte Hosse wife of John Hosse Publican the sum of four pounds to Albert
Kelly Railway Guard Douglas two pounds to my cousin Robert
Cowin of Liverpool four pounds to Robert Kelly of the Cooil Braddan farm
labourer four pounds to Maud Wilton of Douglas Domestic Servant the
sum of one pound and Esther Kinnish wife of Frederick Kinnish Mason the sum
of one pound and a further trust to pay the balance the remaining to my
sister Mary Kelly widow of Robert Kelly for her own sole and
separate use absolutely.  I hereby declare that the receipt of my trustees
for the purchase money of my real estate to be sold as aforesaid -------
be good and sufficient discharge to the purchasers thereof and I appoint the
said Kelly and Gelling executors of this will.
