This is the last will and testament of me Mary Ann Quayle of Glenmaye
in the parish of Patrick widow of the late William Quayle of Glenmaye
aforesaid farmer deceased I being at the time of the making hereof of sound
disposing mind memory and understanding.
I hereby  revoke all other wills and testaments by me at anytime heretofore
made or executed.
I leave to my son William Quayle and to my daughter Eleanor wife of
Edward Qualtrough of Port St Mary the sum of one pound each.
I leave and bequeath to my sons John  Quayle and Thomas Quayle the sum of
forty pounds sterling apiece.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Mary wife of Henry Kermode the sum of
fifty pounds sterling and to my daughter Eliza wife of William
Watterson now in California the sum of fifty pounds.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret wife of William Edward
Leece of the town of Peel, Hatter, the sum of one  hundred pounds
sterling and also the whole of my wearing apparel.
I leave and bequeath to my grandchild Eliza Jane Leece daughter of the
said William Edward Leece the sum of thirty pounds sterling and also the
feather bed, bedstead dressing table with drawers and large chest of drawers
now in the bedroom usually occupied by me together with a bolster, two
pillows, two quilts, one sheet ,and one blanket the same to
be in good order and condition.
I leave and bequeath unto my grandchild Isabella Sara Leece the sum of
thirty pounds sterling and  also the chest of drawers now in the middle
bedroom of the dwelling house occupied by me.
I leave and bequeath unto my grandchildren Lizzie Watterson and Annie
Watterson children of Samuel Watterson the sum of thirty pounds each such
sum to be paid to each of them at the age of twenty one years without
interest and in case either of such  grandchildren shall die under the age
of twenty one years without issue living at her decease leaving
the other her surviving then I leave and bequeath the thirty pounds
bequeathed to such child so dying to the survivor of them to be paid on
attaining the age of twenty one years.  And in case the survivor of such
grandchildren shall die under the age of twenty one years and without
issue living at her decease then I leave and bequeath the money to which
such surviving grandchild would have been entitled unto this my will if
she had attained the age to my grandchildren Thomas Henry Watterson and
Wilfred Watterson equally between them.
I leave devise and bequeath unto my  son Henry Quayle all the rest
residue and remainder of my property real and personal where ever situated
and of what nature and kind soever and I appoint my said son Henry Quayle
sole executor of this my last will and testament.  In
witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this  twenty
seventh day of April one thousand eight hundred and eighty one.

Signed and published by the testatrix Mary Ann Quayle as and for her last
will and testament in presence of us present at the same time who at
her request in her presence and in presence of each other have hereunto
subscribed our names as witnesses the said will having been first read over
to the testatrix.
