This is the last will and testament of me Esther Coulthard of Formby
near Liverpool in the County of Lancaster widow.
I give and bequeath to my niece Christian Bridson of Ballaquiggin in the
parish of Santan the sum of fifty pounds, to my three grandnieces Maria
Bridson, Jane Esther Bridson and Catherine Alice Bridson (daughters of
the late Philip John Bridson) the sum of fifty pounds each to my four nieces
Catherine, Eliza Lace of Ramsey widow, Jane Curphey of Ramsey, Elizabeth
Watson of Ramsey widow and Mary Ann Crennell (wife of
Thomas Crennell) of Liverpool the sum of fifty pounds each (but as to the
fifty pounds given to the said Mary Ann Crennell I direct my executors
and trustees to pay same to her by weekly installments of five shilling. I
give and bequeath to my nieces Clara Harrison (Thompson) Elizabeth Gillett
and Catherine (Katie Milner formerly Catherine Karran and my nephew John
Karran the sum of fifty pounds each.
To my three nieces Catherine Gick, Frances Gick, and Martha Gick the
sum of fifty pounds each. To my niece Elizabeth Bowman at present residing
in Ireland the sum of fifty pounds.
To William Coulthard (son of James Coulthard of WhiteHaven ship builder the
sum fifty pounds.
I give and bequeath to my sister in law Margaret Crellin of said St Johns
widow the sum of fifty pounds and I direct that in case the said Margaret
Crellin shall predecease me then the said fifty pounds shall be paid to
her daughter Catherine Crellin.
I give and bequeath to my cousin Agnes Kelly the sum of fifty pounds and as
to all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever
and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same to my nieces Christian
Lowden (sister of William Lowden formerly ship
broker) for her absolute use and benefit
I hereby appoint the said William Lowden and my nephew John Karran of
Falkland Road Egrewich Cheshire Saddler executors and trustees of this my
will.
I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and
declare this to be my last will.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my name to this seventh day of June

At a court holden at Douglas on the 31st day of October 1891. Willam Lowder
and John Karran sworn executors.
Wm Lowden, John Karran, Catherine Whiteside of Spring Valley Braddan
and William Todhunter of Douglas entered into the bond of fifteen
hundred pounds 3 Oct 1891.
