This is the last will and testament of me Emily Eunice Matthews of GlynMoore
in the parish of German widow being of sound mind memory
and understanding at the making and execution thereof.
After payment of my just debts and testamentary and funeral expense I direct
my executor hereinafter named to hand over certain articles
named in a list given to the Reverend John Corlett of St Johns to the
persons named in such list as therein directed.
And as to the rest and residue of my property and effects I leave and
bequeath the same equally to my son Arthur Matthews and my daughter Mary
Eunice Bridson and Alicia Gardiner and so far as my household
property is concerned I direct the same to be fairly valued and one third
of such value to be paid in cash to my daughter Mary Eunice Bridson in
consequence of her being resident abroad.
I nominate constitute and appoint my son Arthur Matthews executor of this my
will hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this ninth day of
October one thousand eight hundred and ninety.   E. E. Matthews

At a court holden at Peel on the 12th day of October 1891 Arthur Matthews of
Glenmoar, gentleman, son, sworn executor with pledges
being Rev John Corlett St Johns and Albert Edward LaMothe who took out the
amount of three hundred pounds in bond.
