Rushen 1891 No 230 Whereas William Moore late of Fleshwick in the parish of Rushen farmer departed this life on the 24th day of May 1891 intestate. And whereas Letters of Administration of the estate and effects of the said William Moore were on the 22nd day of June 1891 granted to Jane Moore his widow and John Williams Moore his eldest son. And whereas the personal estate of the said William Moore is devisable between the said Jane Moore and his children the said John Williams Moore, James Fletcher Moore, Mary Jane wife of James Quinney, Margaret Matilda Moore and and Emmiline Moore. And whereas the whole of the said parties interested in such division entered into an agreement by deed dated the 7th day of Sep 1891 that the total amount of the personal estate to be divided amongst them after payment of all liabilities shall be the sum of three hundred and fifty seven pounds. And whereas Thomas Moore (one of the afore named parties of Harrismith Orange Free State, South Africa but late of Fleshwick in the Isle of Man having departed this life on the 17th day of Feb 1893 having first made and published his last will and testament probate whereof was granted unto Florence Mary Moore of the town of Castletown the executrix herein named. Now know all men by these presents that I the said Florence Mary Moore do own and acknowledge to have received from the said Jane Moore and John Williams Moore the sum of twenty five pounds ten shillings being the proportion of the personal estate of the said William Moore to which my late husband the said Thomas Moore was entitled and also the whole of the moneys and personal estate of every description to which he or either of us were entitled from the estate of the said Wm Moore and I do hereby therefore discharge exonerate and acquit the said Jane Moore and John Williams Moore in their capacity as administrators of the said estate of William Moore and their executors and administrators from any further liability or accountability to me in respect of the said sum of twenty five pounds ten shillings or of any other personal property due to me aforesaid as witness my subscription this 26th day of March 1895.
