In her Majesty’s High court of Justice of the Isle Of Man
DISTRICT PROBATE SESSION

At a District Probate Session Held at Ramsey
Isle of Man the 4th day of
May 1891
It being proved that Jane Creer late
of the parish of Andreas
on or about the 25 day of
March 1891 departed this life a spinster
and intestate
This court hath decreed John Casement
of Ballacurry in the said
Parish of Andreas Adminr of All and
Singular the personal estate & Effects of the said deceased and
accordingly he is sworn well & truly to adminr the said
Estate & Effects of the said deceased by paying her just debts 
and funeral expenses so far forth as the said Estate & Effects will
extend and the Law bind him and distributing the residue
according to Law and to return to the proper Register a
perfect inventory of all 7 singular the said Estates & Effects with
an accurate account of his administration thereof when there
unto lawfully required.

Whereas Jane Creer late of Ballavastyn
in the Parish of Andreas recently
departed this life intestate and at a 
Court held at Ramsey in the Common
Law Division Testamentary Jurisdiction of the
High court of Justice letters of administration
of her estate were granted to John Casement
of Ballacurry in the said Parish of Andreas.
And whereas Esther Kennish, wife of
William Kennish of Ballavastyn in
aforesaid parish was entitled as one of the
next of kin of the said Jane Creer deceased
to a distributative share of her estate in
amounting to the sum of twenty seven
pounds eleven shillings and six pence
as appeared by the accounts of the said 
Estate returned by the said John Casement
as Adminr thereof as aforesaid
which the several parties hereto hereby
admit to be current.
And whereas the said Esther 
Kennish recently died leaving her 
husband the said William Kennish
and six children namely Mary Ann
Kennish, William Kennish, and Edward
Kennish all of Ballavastyn aforesaid,
Jane the wife of Henry Corlett of Andreas
Village, Margaret the wife of John Christian
of Brookfield Ramsey and Esther the
wife of William Edward Christian of
Taubman St Ramsey her
surviving and the said sum of 
£27-11-6
has not yet been paid over by the 
said John Casement Adminr
as aforesaid ----
An whereas the parties
hereto have agreed that the said 
sum of £27-11-6
so payable to the said Esther Kennish
deceased should be paid to her husband
the said William Kennish aforesaid
and that his receipt alone shall
be in full discharge to the said
John Casement Adminr as
aforesaid.
Now know all by these presents
that in pursuance of the said  agreement
and in consideration of the said 
sum of £27-11-6
(the distributative share of the Estate of the
Said Jane Creer payable to the said Esther 
Kennish deceased is herein before set
forth) paid by the said John Casement
adminr of the said Jane Creer
to the said William Kennish the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
the said William Kennish and the
said Mary Ann Kennish William
Kennish, Edward Kennish, Henry
Corlett, Jane Corlett, John Christian
Margaret Christian, William Edward
Christian and Esther Christian
do hereby severally relieve acquit
and discharge the said John Casement
adminr of the said Jane Creer of and
from all claims & demands
whereby they or any of them have
now or can hereafter make for
or in respect of the estate of the 
said Jane Creer deceased or any part thereof or any matter
or thing in connection therewith
as fully and completely to all
intent & purposes as of the
said William Kennish and
Esther Kennish during their
joint lives had released and
discharged the same.
In witness thereof the said parties 
have herewith subscribed their
names this Second day of July
one thousand eight hundred
and ninety two 1892.

thereto duly signed & executed
the same in his presence after
the same had been read over
