This is the Last Will and Testament of me James Callow of Laxey in the Parish of Lonan Tailor,
but now out of business I being of sound mind, memory and understanding at the making hereof.
I do hereby revoke all Will and Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and
do declare this only to be my Last Will and Testament.
I direct that my body be interred in a new grave in the Church yard of the Parish Church of Lonan
and that a head-stone with the necessary inscription thereon and a curb-stone and railing be
provided by my Executors for such grave and that the cost thereof together with the expenses of my
funeral shall not exceed Fifty pounds.
I give and bequeath the legacies following (namely) To my sister Isabella Callow at present residing
in America Widow, One Hundred pounds To my sister Elizabeth Moore of Ballabeg in the Parish of
Lonan Widow One Hundred pounds; To my nephew John Moore of Ballabeg aforesaid Three
hundred pounds; To my nephew John Moore of Ballabeg aforesaid three hundred pounds; To my
nephew William Callow of the said Parish of Lonan One Hundred pounds; To my niece Jane
Qualtrough of the Town of Douglas Twenty pounds To my niece Ann Crennell of Foxdale in the
Parish of Patrick, Twenty pounds To Ann Brew of Ballaragh in the Parish of Lonan Twenty
pounds; To my niece Ellen Cowin of Ballabeg aforesaid, Twenty pounds; To my niece Catherine
Moore of Ballabeg aforesaid, Twenty pounds; To my niece Hannah Moore of Ballabeg aforesaid
Twenty pounds to Carline Price wife of William Price Of Aldham Street in the City of Liverpool, in
the County of Lancaster, England, Lamplighter, Fifty pounds; and To Ada Callow, James Callow
and Thomas Callow children of my late nephew Thomas Callow deceased, Ten pounds each;
And as to all my Real Estate and the residue of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and
wheresoever. I give devise and bequeath the same unto my said sister Elizabeth Moore. To Hold to
her her heirs executors administrators and assigns absolutely and for ever:
I nominate constitute and appoint my said nephews William Callow and John Moore Executors of
this my Will.
In Witness whereof I the said James Callow Have hereunto subscribed my name this the Twenty
First day of July One thousand eight hundred and eighty eight (1888)
Signed published and declared by the said Testator, James Callow as and for his Last Will and
Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who in his prsence at his request and
in the prsence of each other hereto subscribe our names as attesting witnesses
