The humble petition of Christian Annie Cowley of Douglas Street in the town
of Peel.
Sheweth: That your petitioneršs mother Christian Cowley late of Douglas
Street Peel widow of the late John (Philip) Cowley of the Rheast in the
parish of German departed this life on the 27th day of August 1892
intestate.
That your petitioner is desirous of taking out administration of the
estate and effects of the said Christian Cowley deceased.
Wherefore petitioner prays a hearing hereof and that your Honour may be
pleased to grant letters of administration of the said estate to your
petitioner. And petitioner will pray

At a court held at Peel the 10th day of October 1892.
Upon hearing this petition in presence of the parties or their advocates and
it being proved that Christian Cowley late of Douglas Street town of Peel in
or about the 27th day of August 1892 departed this life a widow and
intestate.
This court hath decreed Christian Annie Cowley of Douglas Street aforesaid
spinster a daughter of deceased administrator of all and
singular the personal estate and effects of the said deceased, and
accordingly she is sworn well and truly to administer the said estate
and effects of the said deceased by paying her just debts and funeral
expenses so far forth as the said estate and effects will extend and the law
bind her and distributing the residue according to law, and to return
to the proper Registry a full, true, and perfect inventory of all and
singular the said estate and effects with an accurate account of her
administration thereof when thereunto lawfully required. John Gill a
judge of the said court.
At a court held in Peel in the parish of German the 10th day of October 1892
Christian Annie wife of John Henry Kelly joiner Peel was appointed
administratrix of the estate and effects of her mother the late
Christain Cowley widow Douglas Street in the town of Peel who departed this
life on the 21st day of August 1892 intestate.
And whereas Catherine Eleanor Cowley is entitled to the sum of sixteen
pounds sterling as one of the next of kin of her mother Christian Cowley
deceased and Christian Annie wife of John Henry Kelly having paid to
Catherine Eleanor Cowley the sum of sixteen pounds the distributive
share of the estate and effects of the said Christian Cowley deceased. Know
all men by these presents that the said Catherine Eleanor Cowley
do acknowledge to have received in full from the said Christian Annie
wife of John Henry Kelly joiner the sum of sixteen pounds sterling the
distributive share of the estate and effects of her mother the deceased
Christian Cowley and the said Catherine Eleanor Cowley relinquished all
further claim and demand out of the estate and effects of her mother the
late Christian Cowley and do direct that the said estate be crossed and
cancelled upon record.
