This is the Last Will and Testament of me Ann Coffey of the Parish of Ballaugh Widow 
of the late Hugh Coffey deceased.

First, I commend my Soul to God and my Body to a Christian Burial.

Secondly and Lastly – I leave and bequeath to the whole of my Children share and share 
alike the whole of my goods, chattels, Invoices, cash, credits and effects of whatsoever 
kind nature or description whatsoever and wheresoever and I nominate constitute ordain 
and appoint my son Hugh whole and sole Executor and residuary legatee in Testimony 
whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name or mark to my ???????.

This the fifteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight. 1888.

The annexed paper writing dated 15 day of May 1888 having been proven to be the last 
Will and Testament of Ann Coffey late of Ballactosha in the parish of Ballaugh widow 
deceased ?????  ????? ?? ??? 8th day of January 1892 . Hugh Coffey of Ballacrosha 
aforesaid a son of the Testatrix the Executor therein named is sworn well and truly to 
fulfil and execute the same and to administer the personal Estate of the said deceased 
according to Law.

Will of Ann Coffey of Ballaugh    Widow

Know all men by these presents that we Hugh Coffey of the parish of Ballaugh, Thomas 
William Green of Balla?????? and William Teare of the Village of Ballaugh are jointly 
and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our Sovereign Lady the Queen in the 
sum Sixty pounds to the payment whereof, well and truly to be made to our said Lady the 
Queen her heirs and successors we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and severally and 
any two of us jointly our Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents. As 
witness our subscriptions the 2 day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight 
hundred and ninety two

The condition of our oblligations is such that if the above-named Hugh Coffey who seeks 
to obtain a grant of Probate of the last Will and Testament of Ann Coffey late of 
Ballacrosha in the parish of Ballaugh but now deceased who died on or about the 8th day 
of January 1892 do when lawfully called on in that behalf make or cause to be made a 
true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said 
deceased which have or shall come to his hands possessions or knowledge or into the 
hands of any other person for him and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be 
exhibited into the proper Registry in that behalf whenever required by law so to do And 
the same personal Estate, and effects of the said deceased which shall at any time come 
into the hands or possessions of the said Hugh Coffey or into the hands or possession of 
any other persons for him or which without default might have come into the hands or 
possession of the said Hugh Coffey do well and truly administer according to law that is 
to say do pay the debts and liabilities of the said deceased so far as the said personal 
estate will extend and the law bind the said Hugh Coffey then this obligation to be void 
and of no effect or else to remain in full force and virtue
