Malew 1893 No 123 The humble petition of John Quaggin of Thalloo vell in the parish of Malew farmer. Sheweth: At a court held at Castletown on the 10th day of November 1884 probate of the last will and testament of Ann Quaggin late of Thalloo vell aforesaid was granted to Richard Quaggin the sole executor in the said will named. The said Richard Quaggin departed this life on the 16th day of January 1892 intestate and without having fully administered Ann Quaggins will. It is necessary that Letters of Administration de bonis non with the will annexed of the estate of the said Ann Quaggin should be granted to some fit and proper person or persons. Wherefore your petitioner humbly prays a hearing hereof and that your honor maybe pleased to grant Letters of Administration de bonis non of the estate of the said Ann Quaggin to your petitioner a son of said Ann Quaggin or to some other fit and proper person or persons and he will pray. W. Quilliam for petr Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be held at Douglas on Monday the 26 day of June 1893 at 11 o'clock forenoon. Whereof all proper parties and person are to have due and lawful notice. Given at Douglas this 22 day of June 1893. W. Drinkwater. Will of Ann Quaggin late of Thalloo vell in the parish of Malew. Know all men by these present that we John Quaggin of Thalloo vell in the parish of Malew farmer, William Shimmin of Ballachrink in the parish of Malew farmer and Evan Quaggin of Albert Street in the town of Douglas baker are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our sovereign Lady the Queen in the sum of Three hundred and seventy pounds to the payment whereof, well and truly to be made to our said Lady the Queen, her heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and severally, and any two of us jointly, our executors and administrators, firmly by these presents. As witness in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three. The condition of our obligation is such, that if the above named John Quaggin the intended administrator of all and singular the personal estate and effects of Ann Quaggin late of Thallo vell in the parish of Malew but now decease who died on or about the 30th day of Sep 1893 left unadministered do, when lawfully called on in that be hold, make or cause to made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects of the said deceased, which have or shall come into his hands, possession or knowledge or into the hands of any other person for him and the same so make exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the proper Registry in that behalf whenever required by law to do so: And the same personal Estate, or effects, and all other the personal estate and effects of the said deceased which shall at any time come into the hands or possession of the said John Quaggin or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him or which without default might have come into the hands or possession of the said John Quaggin do well and truly administer according to law, that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of the said deceased and the legacies bequeathed by the said will so far as the said personal estate will extends and the law bind the said John Quaggin and do deliver and pay unto the person or person legally entitled thereto all the rest and residue of the said personal estate and effects, then this obligation to be void and of no effect, or else to remain in full force and virtue.
