This is the last Will and Testament of me William Corris
of Gleneedle in the Parish of Patrick in the Isle of Man, Farmer.
I leave and bequeath to my son William Charles Corris the whole
of my stock crop and farming implements after payment thereout
of my just debts and rents due at time of death in connection with my farm.
I leave and bequeath to my four daughters Anne wife of John Corkill,
Margaret Jane Corris, Emma Haseltine Corris and Selina Corris a
legacy of Twenty five pounds each to be paid to them by my son the
said William Charles Corris.
Also further legacies to my four daughters Anne wife of John Corkill,
Margaret Jane Corris, Emma Haseltine Corris and Selina Corris of
Seven pounds, ten shillings each to be paid by my son the aforesaid
William Charles Corris on receiving money due from the Foxdale Railway
Company. Also a legacy of Twenty pounds to Lower Foxdale Wesleyan Methodist
New Chapel to be paid by my son the aforesaid William Charles Corris
on receiving money due from the Foxdale Railway Company.
I leave and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Jane Corris the whole
of my household furniture in my house in Foxdale for her own use and benefit.
I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my wife Jane Corris my sole
executrix of all the rest of my personal estate.
As witness my name this the thirtieth day July one thousand eight hundred
and ninety two (1892). Signed William Corris
Signed the said William Corris in the presence of us present at the
same time who in his presence and in presence of each other subscribe
our names as Witnesses.

At a Court held at Peel on the 30th day of January 1893
Probate was granted to Jane Corris widow executrix of the Will dated the
30th day of July 1892 of William Corris, Farmer late of Gleneedle in the
Parish of Patrick who died on the 23rd day of December 1892.
And whereas Anna (wife of John Corkill), Margaret Jane (wife of Joseph
Philip Quirk) Emma Haseltine and Selina daughters of the said William Corris
are entitled to the sum of Thirty pounds sterling part of purchase money
of a certain piece of land received from Foxdale Railway Company and one
hundred pounds sterling on farm stock and crop to be divided equally among
the said Anna (wife of John Corkill) Margaret Jane (wife of Joseph Philip
Quirk) Emma Haseltine and Selina Corris under the Will of the said William
Corris their father and the said Jane Corris widow executrix having paid in
full to the said Anna (wife of John Corkill) Margaret Jane (wife of Joseph
Philip Quirk) Emma Haseltine and Selina Corris the sum of Thirty two pounds,
ten shillings each the amount due under the Will of the said William Corris.
Know all men therefore by these presents that the said Anna (wife of John Corkill)
Margaret Jane (wife of Joseph Philip Quirk) Emma Haseltine and Selina Corris
doth hereby acknowledge to have received in full from the said Jane Corris
the sum of Thirty two pounds ten shillings each, the amount due under the
Will of the said William Corris and the said Anna (wife of John Corkill)
Margaret Jane (wife of Joseph Philip Quirk) Emma Haseltine and Selina Corris
do hereby relinquish all further claim and demand on the said Jane Corris under
the Will of the said William Corris and do direct that the same be crossed
and cancelled upon record. In witness whereof we have signed our names hereunto
this the 10th day of December one thousand eight [hundred] and ninety seven 1897.

Anna Corkill, Margaret Jane Quirk, Emma Haseltine Corris, Selina Corris
