This is the last Will and Testament of
William Bridson of Ballavagher in the
Parish of Patrick
I give and bequeath to my son William
Bridson the sum of five shillings
I give and bequeath to my granddaughter
Eleanor Margaret Clarke, the sum of five pounds
All the residue of my estate and effects,
both real and personal, whatsoever and
wheresoever, and of what nature and quality
soever, I give, devise and bequeath to my
wife, Margaret Bridson, for her life and
after her death to my daughter, Catherine Jane
Bridson, but should she then be married
or if she at any future time marries, the
said residue shall in that case to be equally
divided between herself and her sisters
Margaret Clarke, Christian Elizabeth Leece, and
Sarah Jane Kelly. Also in case the said Catherine Jane
Bridson dies, the said residue is to be equally divided between the said three sisters.
The said Catherine Jane Bridson so long as she is
in possession of the house, which forms part
of my real estate, is to keep the same in good repair
And I do hereby appoint my wife Margaret
Bridson sole executrix of this my Will, as
witness my hand this twenty eighth day of April
