This is the last will and testament of me John Caine of Ballacorlett in
the parish of Michael bachelor which I make publish and declare in form
and manner following
I leave and devise to my sister Elizabeth Joughin widow of the late Mark
Joughin of the parish of Bride all and singular that field or enclosure of
intack land situate in the said parish of Michael commonly called "Close
Garrow". Also the whole of my share in that meadow or enclosure of
land known as "Close e Resour or Safas Close situate in the parish of
Lezayre To Have and to Hold the same with all appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said Elizabeth Joughin her
heirs and assigns absolutely.
I leave and devise all and singular those lands houses and premises
situate in Michael aforesaid called and commonly known as the "West
Berk" also the whole of my share in that meadow or enclosure of land called
"Lheaney hom Cain" being part of East Berk in Michael aforesaid. Also a
small meadow adjoining the same being part of Ballaleigh in the
said parish known as "The Little Meadow" unto my sister Jane Kerruish widow
of Edward Philip Kerruish late of Ramsey deceased for her
lifetime and after her decease I leave and devise the same to my sisters the
said Elizabeth Joughin and Eleanor Caine now residing with me at Michael
aforesaid jointly for their joint lives in equal shares and upon
the decease of either of them the said Elizabeth Joughin and Eleanor
Caine I leave and devise the said lands houses and premises to the survivor
of them for her natural lifetime and on the death of such
survivor I give and devise the said lands and premises to my heir or
heiress at law to hold to him or her and him or her heirs and assigns
absolutely.
And as to the whole of my personal estate goods chattels and effects I leave
and bequeath the same unto my said sister Eleanor Caine
absolutely.
And I nominate constitute and appoint the said Eleanor Caine sole
executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former
wills or writings testamentary by me at any time heretofore made or executed
and declaring this only to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this first day of
September one thousand eight hundred and ninety four (1894).

will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his
presence and in presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names
as Witnesses.
