In the name of God Amen.
I Ann Clugstone widow in the parish of Kirk Christ Rushen Port Erin Isle
of Man being of sound mind memory and understanding do make this my last
will and testament in manner following.
I leave to the poor that may be on the parish of Rushen Church Books ten
pounds.
I leave to St Catherines Church Port Erin one hundred pounds.
I leave to the parish of Rushen Sunday School five pounds.
I leave to the Committee of the Port Erin Life Board Five pounds to be
applied in paying expenses of said boat.
I leave to my sister Margaret Kermode widow twenty pounds and my
inside wearing apperal if she survives me if not I bequeath the above to
my niece Jane Geary.
I also leave my niece Jane Geary ten pounds.
I leave and bequeath to my nephew John Watterson twenty pounds. Also
a cottage at Port Erin now in the occupation of William Moor also ten
five pounds share in the Fishman's Supply Association Port St Mary as a
legacy.
I leave to William Clugstone Senior fifty pounds as a legacy if he
survives me if not I bequeath the said sum to his two daughters.
I also leave to Thomas Quine thirty pounds for the care and expense he
has been at and care of a motherless baby.
I leave to Margaret Moore widow of the late Thos Moore wife five pounds also
a feather bed with a white ticking one bolster two pillows bedstead mattress
and hangings also my outside wearing apperall to be divided between Margaret
Moore widow and Elizabeth and Margaret Watterson daughters of John Watterson
with the exception of my black satin dress I bequeath to Louise Barkell.
I leave to my nephew James Kermode five pounds and my large family
bible and my gold spectables as a legacy.
I leave and bequeath to Richard Barkill five pounds if he survives me.
I leave and bequeath to William Clugstone Junior all the rest of my
property when he arrives at the age of twenty five year and I appoint James
Kermode my nephew and Richard Barkell as trustees over him
until he arrives at said age.
I also give to William Clugstone Junior my watch and guards and
household furniture bedding and linen and William Clugstone junior is to
pay all my just dues and demands
I leave to Meta Annie Kermode my enlaide work box and I leave to Mona
Catherine Kermode my painted work box.
I leave to Elizabeth Watterson a china machie tea caddy.
I also leave to the above Elizabeth Watterson 20 pounds.
Should the said William Clugstone Junior die before he arrives at the age
named I leave my property to my nephew James Kermode and my nephew John
Watterson they are to pay all dues and demands justly owing by
Anne Clugstone
Pay to William Clugstone Senior fifty pounds.
Thomas Clugstone fifty pounds
Walter Clugstone fifty pounds
Anne Clugstone fifty pounds
Florie Clugstone fifty pounds
John Geary Clugstone fifty pounds
What ever the remainder of the property may be is to be equally divided
between my two nephews James Kermode and John Watterson.
I leave to Elizabeth Watterson twenty pounds if she survives.
I leave to her sister Margaret Watterson ten pounds if she survives.
I have written this with my own hand requesting it to stand lawful. June

Margaret Moore of Nottage House Port Erin widow of Thomas Moore received
legacy five pounds a feather bed with a white ticking, a bolster, two
pillow, a bedstead mattress and hangings 8th Feb 1899.
I Anne Clugstone widow do make this codicil to my last will and
testament in manner following:
I leave to my nephew James Kermode fifty pounds to be added to five pounds
left him in my will if he survives.
I leave to Richard Barkell twenty pounds to be added to five pounds left him
in my will. The legacies to be paid out of money that is in Thos Qualtrough
property Port St Mary.
If Wm Clugstone Junior during my life time join the football game he is
to be deprived of my property that I have left him in my will. Anne
Clugstone.

William Clugstone Junior executor sworn.
John Clague, James Clague, George Lucas trustees and Charles Jennison,
Joseph McArd, James Mylrea, T.J. Pearce and Wm Tayler Committee of the Port
Erin Life Boat received five pounds legacy 19 Aug 1897.
Charles Henry Leece Clerk in Holy Orders Vicar of the parish church of
Rushen received five pounds legacy 19 August 1897.
One Hundred pounds recąd by Charles Henry Leece Kirk Christ Rushen for St
Catherine Church Port Erin 5 Oct 1897.
Ten pounds recąd by Charles Henry Leece for poor on Church Books in amount
of ten pounds 23 August 1897.
James Kermode Castle Mona Port Erin received fifty five pounds also
large family bible and pair of gold spectacles 21 August 1897.
Margaret Kermode sister received thirty pounds and inside wearing
apparel but Margaret Kermode died and so it went to Jane Geary of Port Erin
Widow.
John Watterson of the sound in the parish of Rushen received twenty pounds
also two pounds being amount of dividend payable to the said
John Watterson in respect of ten shares in the Fishermans Supply Association
Port St Mary 21 August 1897.
William Clugstone survived Anne Clugstone but died on the 12th April
1897 having made and published his last will and testament bearing date the
31 Mar 1897 where he appointed Agnes Fisher sole executrix and whereby he
bequeath all his real and personal estate to every description unto the said
Agnes Fisher
15 Sep 1897 Agnes Fisher received 50 lbs
Richard Barkell of Castle Mona Port Erin in the parish of Rushen received £25
21 Aug 1897.
Thomas Quine of 48 Barbara Street Harbor Street Liverpool received
from Wm Clugston junior thirty pounds on 19 August 1897.
Elizabeth Cain formerly Watterson wife of John Cain received £10 23 Aug
1897.
Thomas Qualtrough of Port St Mary Harbour Master Thomas Clague of Bellevue
Hotel Port Erin and Thomas Moore of Ballacurry trustees of the widows and
orphan Fund of the Habour Peace Lodge of the Independent
---- of Oddfellow Port St Mary received from Wm Clugstone Junior of
town of Douglas executor 5 pounds legacy bequeath to the Port St Mary
Oddfellows Widows and Orphan Fund 19 August 1897.
