This is the last will and testament of me HENRY TAGGART of 9
Seneschal Lane in the town of Douglas, and I do hereby revoke 
all other wills by me heretofore made and declare this only 
to be my last Will and Testament.  
I leave and bequeath to my WIFE MARGARET the interest annually 
arising from the sum of 60 pounds so long as she continues 
in my name and in the event of her marrying again or at her 
death the said sum of 60 pounds is to be equally divided 
between my eight or their heirs or assigns share and share alike.  
Item, I also leave and bequeath to each of my children as 
follows, namely my SON HENRY TAGGART the sum of 25 pounds, 
to my SON RICHARD TAGGART the sum of 25 pounds, to my SON 
SAMUEL TAGGART the sum of 25 pounds, to my son STANLEY TAGGART 
the sum of 25 pounds, to my SON JAMES TAGGART  the sum of 
25 pounds, to my DAUGHTER CECILIA now MARRIED TO THOMAS KERMODE 
the sum of 25 pounds, to my DAUGHTER MARGARET TAGGART the 
sum of 25 pounds, and to my DAUGHTER CATHARINE TAGGART the 
sum of 25 pounds or to their heirs or assigns.  
I also leave and bequeath to my SON HENRY TAGGART my watch 
same to be taken immediate possession of on the occasion of 
my death.  
I also decree that my household furniture be left for the use 
of my WIFE MARGARET as long as she continues in my name and 
in the event of her marrying again or at her death the furniture 
to be sold and equally divided between my EIGHT CHILDREN before 
named share and share alike or their heirs or assigns.  
I further decree that all legacies contained in this will be 
paid forthwith immediately after my death so that each one may 
have their due portion at once. The monies for the payment of 
such legacies being deposited in the Isle of Man Banking Company 
Limited office at Douglas. A balance of 60 pounds to be left in 
the before named Bank the interest of which my WIFE is to 
receive as long as she continues in my name or till her death 
afterwards the said sum of 60 pounds to be disposed of as before 
mentioned in this will.  
I appoint nominate and constitute my SONS HENRY AND RICHARD 
jointly to be my whole and sole executors and residuary legatees 
of all the rest and remainder of all real and personal estate 
of whatsoever nature or wheresoever found.  
And this I declare to be my last will and testament as witness 
my signature this the 9th day of May one thousand and eight 
hundred and ninety four, 9th Day of May 1894.
