Andreas 1896 No 239 The humble petition of Charles Teare of Ballaseyre in the parish of Andreas Gentleman and William Henry Taubman of the town of Ramsey Engineer Sheweth: That Katherine Jane Taubman late of Auburn Cottage Lezayre departed this life on or about the 29th day of October 1896 having first duly made and published her last will and testament in writing whereof she appointed your petitioners executors. That petitioners are desirous of obtaining probate of the said will and to be sworn executors thereunder Wherefore petitioners pray a hearing hereof and that your Honor may be pleased to grant probate of the said will to your petitioners or some other fit and proper person or persons. And petitioners will ever pray. John Cruickshank for petrs Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard before me at a Court to be holden at Ramsey on Monday the 16th day of November 1896. Whereof all proper persons and parties are to have due notice. Given this 12th day of Nov 1896. This the last will and testament of me Catherine Jane Taubman of Auburn Cottage in the town of Ramsey widow which I make publish and declare this the fourth day of March 1893. I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate of which I may be entitled to at my decease as to our moiety to my brother Charles Teare of Ballaseyre in the parish of Andreas with remainder to my brother in law William Henry Taubman at present residing with me at Auburn Cottage aforesaid absolutely. I nominate constitute and appoint the said Charles Teare and the said William Henry Taubman joint executors of this my last will. As witness my name the date aforesaid. Catherine Jane Taubman Signed published and declared by the said testator as and for her last will and testament in our presence who in her presence at her request and in presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses: Isabella Gill Thomas Allen 16 Nov 1896 William Henry Taubman brother-in-law and Charles Teare brother sworn as executors.
