I John Robert Quayle Shoemaker Bowring Road in the town of Ramsey bachelor
do make the following as and for my last will and testament.
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to a decent
Christian burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my brother Thomas Quayle now residing at
Douglas the sum of thirty pounds sterling as legacy.
I leave and bequeath my brother's son Thomas Quayle Junior now residing at
Laxey the sum of ten pounds sterling as legacy.
I leave and bequeath my niece Mary Ann Lace now residing at North
Ramsey the sum of twenty five pounds sterling as legacy.
I leave and bequeath my nieces two children Mary Ann and David Leslie
Carr now residing at Liverpool ten pounds each as legacy.
I leave and bequeath Margaret Bruce now residing in Bowring Road
Ramsey ten pounds as legacy.
I leave and bequeath to Mrs Mary Ann Bruce wife of Robert Bruce Bowring Road
in the  town of Ramsey the whole of the remainder of my household furniture
goods chattels and effects jewelry pictures and all that I may have at my
decease and fifty pounds sterling as legacy.
Lastly I nominate and appoint Robert Bruce of Bowring Road in the town
of Ramsey sole executor of this my last will hereby revoking all former
wills by me heretofore made declaring this to be my last will and
testament as witness my name hereto subscribed this the 12th day of February
1897.
