In the goods of Thomas Boyd deceased.
We Lydia Mary Boyd and Clara Boyd of the Crofts in the town of Castletown
the executrixes name in the will dated the 11th day of April 1895 of our
father Thomas Boyd who died at the Crofts in the said town of Castletown on
the 24th day of February 1900 desire to renounce any right or claim we might
have under the said will to being sworn
executrixes thereof and we also desire that Letters of Administration of the
estate and effects of the said Thomas Boyd decreased with his said will
annexed may be grant to William Thomson of the town of Douglas.
As witness our subscription this 18th day of May 1900.

Charles Bowman Brickerstaff the subscribing witness to the execution
of the foregoing renunciation (and who is known to me) made oath that
the same was duly executed by Lydia Mary Boyd and Clara Boyd the executing
parties thereto in his presence

I Thomas Boyd of the of Castletown, Ironmonger, do hereby make and publish
my last will and testament in manner following hereby revoking every former
will by me heretofore made.
I give devise and bequeath the whole of my real and personal estate of every
kind and description where so ever situate to my two daughters
Lydia Mary Boyd and Clara Boyd in equal share between them one as much as
the other.
And I appoint them the said Lydia Mary Boyd and Clara Boyd executrixes
of this my will.
As witness my name thereto this 11th day of April 1896. Thomas Boyd Signed
published and declared by the said Thomas Boyd as and for his
last will and testament in presence of:

Will of Thomas Boyd of the town of Castletown Ironmonger.
Know all men by these presents that we William Thomson of the borough
of Douglas Auctioneer, William Godfrey Cubbon of 48 Bucks Road Douglas
aforesaid and John Archibald Brown of the said Borough Printer and Publisher
are joint and several and any two us jointly bound unto our Sovereign Lady
the Queen in the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds to the payment whereof,
well and truly to be made to our Lady the Queen,
her heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and
severally, and any two of us jointly, our executors and administrators
firmly by these presents. As witness our subscription the 2 day of May
in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred.
The condition of our obligation is such, that if the above named William
Thomson the intended Administrator of all and singular the personal
estate and effects of Thomas Boyd late of the Crofts in the town of
Castletown but now deceased, who died on or about the 24th of February 1900
do, when lawfully called on in that behalf, make or cause to be
made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate
and effects of the said deceased which have or shall come into his hands,
possession or knowledge, or into the hands of any other person for him and
the same so made exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the proper Registry
in that behalf wherever required by law to do so; and the same personal
Estate, or effects, and all other personal estate and effects and all other
the personal estate effects said deceased, which shall at any time come into
the hand or possession of the said William Thomson or
into the hands or possession of other person or person for him or which
without default might have come into the hands or possession of the said
William Thomas do well and truly administer according to law, that is to
say, do pay the debts and liability of the said decease the legacies
bequeathed by the will so far as the said personal estate will extend and
the law bind the said William Thomson and do delivery and pay unto the
person or person legally entitled thereto all the rest residue of the said
personal estate and effects, then this obligation to be void and of no
effect or else to remain in full force and virtue.
Wm Thomson the foregoing parties to the foregoing Bond acknowledge
the same to be their act and deed.
