Peel 1900 264 The humble petition of Thomas Joshua Graves of Peel Timber Merchant Elizabeth Jane Graves, Christian Ann Graves, Thomas Arthur Wood, and Catherine Wood all of Peel. Sheweth: Catherine Graves late of the town of Peel widow died at Peel aforesaid on or about the 18th day of March 1900 intestate. It is necessary that Letters of Administration of the estate of the said Catherine Graves should be granted to some fit and proper person or persons and petitioners are desirous that such administration should be granted to your petitioner Thomas Joshua Graves. Wherefore petitioners humbly pray a hearing hereof and that your Honor may be pleased to grant Letters of Administration of the estate of the said Catherine Graves to the said Thomas Joshua Graves and petitioners will pray. Richard D. Felling for petrs 26 Nov 1900 Thomas Joshua Graves sworn administrator with Elizabeth Jane Graves and Cottier Graves entered into a bond for 12 hundred pounds.
