Michael/Liverpool 1902 No 135 The humble petition of Margaret Agnes Quiggin of Clarence Grove Liverpool in the County of Lancaster spinster Thomas Kneale of Ballaholley in the parish of Jurby and Eleanor Jane Kneale wife of the said Thomas Kneale and George Henry Quiggin of Liverpool aforesaid. Sheweth: 1. Margaret Quiggin formerly of Clarence Grove Liverpool aforesaid widow mother of your petitioners Margaret Agnes Quiggin, Eleanor Jane Kneale and George Henry Quiggin died at Liverpool on the 26th day of March 1902 having first duly made her last will in writing whereof she appointed your petitioner Margaret Agnes Quiggin and Annie Christian Todd wife of James Todd executrixes - such will being dated the 7th day of June 1898. 2. Probate of the said will in England was on the 10th day of April 1902 granted to your petitioner Margaret Agnes Quiggin power being reserved ------ the like grant to the said Annie Christian Todd. Your petitioners are desirous that the probate of the said will in the Isle of Man should be granted to the said Margaret Agnes Quiggin power being reserved of making the like grant to the said Annie Christian Todd when discovered wherefore petitioners humbly pray a hearing hereof and that your Honor may be pleased to grant probate of the said will and the said deceadent Margaret Quiggin to the said Margaret Agnes Quiggin reserving power of making the like grant to Annie Christian Todd when discovered and petrs will ever pray. I Margaret Quiggin of 57 Clarence Grove in the city of Liverpool formerly of Kirk Michael in the Isle of Man widow hereby revoke all testamentary disposition heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will which I make this seventh day of June one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight. I direct the payment of my just debts, funeral, and testamentary expenses including the sum of forty pounds to my son John James which amount he advanced to me. I bequeath the following pecuniary legacies to my daughter Eleanor Jane wife of Thomas Kneale of Ballaholly Jurby in the Isle of Man the sum of one hundred and twenty pounds for her separate use. To each of her daughters Margaret Jane and Agnes Annie the sum of ten pounds. To my daughter Margaret Agnes the sum of two hundred pounds. To my daughter Annie Christian the sum of one hundred and forty pounds. To my son John James the sum of forty pounds. To my son George Henry the sum of one hundred and thirty pounds. To my friend John Henry Martin the sum of four pounds free of legacy duty. I bequeath the following specific legacies to my son John James his bed and bedding. To my son George Henry his bed and bedding and one piece of furniture which he shall choose. To my daughter Eleanor Jane the couch and my black shawl. To my daughter Margaret Agnes my light shawl. To my daughter Annie Christian my dark shawl. To my friend John Henry Martin the silver headed stick free of legacy duty. To all my children in equal shares my books. I give devise and bequeath the residue or my property unto and to the use of my daughters Margaret Agnes and Annie Christian in equal shares as tenants in common and I appoint my daughters Margaret Agnes and Annie Christian executrixes of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand - Margaret Quiggin signed by the said Margaret Quiggin as and for her last will the presence of us both being present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Edward Lewis Lloyd Solicitor Liverpool Annie Lloyd
