This is the last will and testament of John Radcliffe of Belmont Terrace Ramsey which I make 
publish and declare this 31st day of January 1900 as follows that is to say I give leave and 
bequeath to Margaret Radcliffe widow of my late brother William and to the children of my said 
brother William Mona Margaret and Wesley all of whom reside now in America the sum of £20 
each leagacy.
I give and bequeath to my sister Esther Corlett widow and to her children John William Robert 
and Esther the sum of £20 each as legacy and in case my said sister Esther Corlett should 
predecease me her legacy of £20 to go and be paid to her il. Daughter Esther Corlett.
I leave and bequeath to my wife Catherine Radcliffe that dwelling house and premises in the 
town of Ramsey in which we now reside together with all the furniture fittings glass plate linen 
and household goods and effects of every description therein to and for her own absolute use 
and benefit.
And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my estate real and personal of whatever 
description soever and wheresoever situated I give devise leave and bequeath the same to my 
said wife Catherine Radcliffe for the term of her natural life and after her decease to my brother 
Richard for the term of his natural life and after the decease of both my said wife and brother to 
the three sons of my brother namely Richard William and John in equal portions share and share 
alike.
I nominate constitute and appoint my said brother Richard whole and sole executor of this my 
last will and hereby revoking all other wills and papers testamentary by me at any time 
heretofore made I declare this only to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have 
here unto subscribed my name and date first before written signed published and declared by 
the testator as and for thelast will and testament in our presence who in his presence of each 
other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
