To His Honour Stewart Stevenson Moore, Esquire, Deemster, and a Judge of such Division.
The humble petition of
Richard Stanley Bell of
Ballachrink, St. John.s in
The parish of German,
Farmer.
Sheweth as follows .
1) Sarah Marie Bell late of Ballachrink
aforesaid, Widow, mother of your petitioner,
died on the 23rd day of November 1903
having first made and published her
last Will and Testament dated the 18th
day of May 1903 whereof she appointed
your petitioner sole executor.
2) It is necessary that probate of the
said Will should be granted.
Wherefore your petitioner humbly
prays a hearing thereof and
that your Honour may be
pleased to grant probate of
the said Will to your petitioner
and your petitioner will
ever pray etc.

heard at a Court to be held at
Peel on the 13th day of June 1904 at
10-15 forenoon, whereof all proper
persons and parties to have due and
lawful notice.

Will of Sarah Maria Bell late of
Bellachrink in the parish of German, Widow
KNOW all men by these presents that we Richard
Stanley Bell of Ballachrink, German, Farmer,
John Clague, Star???, German, Farmer,
and Patrick Clague, Blacksmith,
Poortown, German, Blacksmith
are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our
Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of fifty pounds
to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said
Lord the king, his heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves
jointly and severally, and any two of us jointly, our Executors and
Administrators, firmly by these presents.
As witness our subscriptions the 13th day of
June in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred
and four.
THE CONDITION of our obligation is such, that if the
above-named Richard Stanley Bell
(hereinafter called .the Executor.) who seek to obtain a grant of
Probate of the last Will and Testament of Sarah
Maria Bell
Ballachrink in the parish of German
but now deceased, who died at Ballachrink
on or about the 23rd day of November 1903,
do, when lawfully called on in that behalf, make or cause to be made
a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects
of the said deceased, which have or shall come into his hands,
possession, or knowledge, or into the hands of any other person for him
and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the proper
Registry in that behalf whenever required by law so to do: And the same
personal estate and effects, of the said deceased, which shall at any time come
into the hands or possession of the Executor, or into the hands of any
other person or persons for him or which without default might have
come into the hands or posession of the Executor, do well and truly
administer according to law, that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of
the said deceased so far as the said personal estate will extend and the law
bind the Executor, then this obligation to be void and of no effect, or
else to remain in full force and virtue.

acknowledged the same to be their Act and Deed.)

This is the last Will and
Testament of Sarah Maria Bell, of
Ballachrink, St. John.s, in the Parish of
German. I bequeath to my son John
Thomas Arthur Bell, all the money
that may belong to me at my death. All the
rest of my property of every description
whatsoever and wheresoever, I give, and
devise to my five children Richard
Stanley, Albert Edward, John Thomas
Arthur, Emily Helena, and Sedar May Bell,
to be equally divided among them;
and I hereby appoint my son the above
mentioned Richard Stanley Bell sole ex-
ecutor of this my Will. In witness where-
of, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-
eighth day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and three.

The Annexed paper writing dated
the 28th day of May 1903 having
been proven to be the Last Will
and Testament of Sarah Maria
Bell late of Ballachrink St. John.s
in the parish of German Widow
deceased who died on the 23rd
day of November 1903 at
Ballachrink aforesaid. Richard
Stanley Bell also of Ballachrink
aforesaid Farmer a son of the
Testatrix the Executor therein named
is sworn well and truly to fulfil
and execute the same and to
administer the personal Estate of the
said deceased according to Law.
