I James Henry of Old Laxey in the Parish of 
Lonan, miner, being of sound disposing mind, 
memory & understanding do make this my last 
will & testament in manner following hereby 
revoking & cancelling all wills heretofore made by me.
First I leave devise & bequeath to my wife 
Margaret Henry all my real and personal estate 
of whatsoever nature or description as her 
own absolutely. I also hereby nominate constitute 
& appoint my said wife Margaret Henry sole 
executor of this my last will & testament 
& have hereunto subscribed my name this 
twenty-fifth day of June in the year one 
thousand nine hundred and one. 
Signed by the testator in the joint presence 
of us who thereupon signed our names in his 
and each other’s presence.
